Everything you need to know for your Alaskan adventure
Booking your wilderness adventure is simple! Book online, Call us at +1 907-223-1665 or email wizard@wildravenalaska.com. We'll help you choose the perfect experience and secure your dates. We recommend booking early, especially during peak Northern Lights season, as our premium adventures fill up quickly.
Alaska travel doesn’t always go according to plan. When booking online, you’ll have the option to purchase Peek Protect, which may provide a fast, full refund for covered circumstances such as illness, injury, pre-existing conditions, transportation disruptions, and certain family or home emergencies.
Because our Alaska winter season is short, Wild Raven does not provide refunds for guest cancellations. We strongly recommend adding Peek Protect when booking for extra peace of mind. Refund eligibility through Peek Protect is subject to its coverage terms and may require supporting documentation
We provide all the essential gear including helmets, goggles, and safety equipment. You'll want to dress in warm layers - thermal underwear, wool socks, warm gloves, and a winter hat. Don't forget your camera for those breathtaking wilderness shots! We'll send you a detailed packing list when you book.
Not at all! Our adventures are designed for all skill levels. We provide comprehensive safety briefings and hands-on instruction before every tour. Our experienced guides will teach you everything you need to know about mushing with Alaskan Huskies or navigating the snowy trails. If you can walk and have a sense of adventure, you're ready!
We keep our groups intentionally small to ensure a premium, personalized experience. Most tours accommodate 6-8 adventurers maximum, allowing for plenty of one-on-one attention from our guides and a more intimate connection with Alaska's healing wilderness. This isn't a crowded tourist experience - it's your personal gateway to the wild.
Our primary tours are conducted in English by our friendly, knowledgeable local guides who know every trail and story in the Talkeetna wilderness. For international guests requiring other language support, please contact us in advance at wizard@wildravenalaska.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
