Why take this tour?

Come Stay. Come Play. Experience Alaska With Us.

Forget squeezing Alaska into a few hours. This is your chance to settle in, slow down, and experience winter the way we love it.

Our Stay & Play is a three-night, all-inclusive winter escape built around adventure, incredible scenery, great food, and genuine Alaskan hospitality. You'll stay at the beautiful Talkeetna Denali View Lodge while we take care of the details—and each day brings an entirely different adventure.

Ride beneath the stars on an evening snowmobile adventure before gathering around the fire and experiencing the magic of dog sledding after dark. Journey high into the Talkeetna Mountains, where you'll be rewarded with incredible 360° views stretching across the Talkeetna Mountains and Alaska Range. Then head out for another day of snowmobiling through Alaska's winter wilderness, cruising across frozen lakes and rivers, exploring wide-open terrain, and stopping along the way for lunch, snacks, photos, and those moments when you simply have to turn the machine off and take it all in.

You'll ride Ski-Doo Expedition wide-track snowmobiles, giving you the comfort and versatility to explore both groomed trails and more adventurous terrain.

And when the riding is over? That's when you get to come home.

Warm up at the lodge, soak tired muscles in the hot tub, sit down to a homemade meal, share stories from the day, and relax knowing there's another adventure waiting for you tomorrow. We want Stay & Play to feel less like a packaged vacation and more like you've come to Alaska to spend a few days adventuring with friends who happen to know some pretty incredible places.

No rushing from hotel to tour bus. No figuring out where to eat or what to do next. Just three days to ride hard, slow down, laugh a lot, eat well, and experience the Alaska we call home.

Come as our guest. Leave feeling like a local.

Play Hard! Eat Well!

Play Hard! Eat Well!

At Wild Raven, we have a simple philosophy: good adventures start with good food. Alaska winter weather doesn't always follow the plan. It might be snowing sideways, dumping fresh powder, or giving us a perfect bluebird day. Whatever Mother Nature brings, we believe that with warm gear, good company, and hearty food in your belly, the fun never has to stop. That's why food is a big part of our Stay & Play experience. After a day of snowmobiling through the Talkeetna Mountains, crossing frozen lakes, or mushing with the dogs, you'll come home to warm, homemade meals made to fill you up and get you ready for tomorrow's adventure. On the trail, we'll keep you fueled with lunches, snacks, and hot drinks—because everything tastes a little better surrounded by Alaska wilderness. Our meals aren't about fancy plates or tiny portions. They're about hearty food, good conversation, and gathering around the table after an incredible day outside. By the end of your stay, we hope it feels less like dining at a lodge and more like sharing a meal with old friends. Play hard. Eat well. Sleep good. Repeat.

Geared Up & Ready for Alaska

When you're properly geared up, a little Alaska weather just makes the adventure more fun. At Wild Raven, we provide the quality equipment you need to stay warm, comfortable, and ready for whatever the day brings. You'll ride top-of-the-line snowmobiles and be outfitted with Ski-Doo riding gear, including insulated boots, bibs, a winter coat, and helmet. We take care of the bulky stuff so you don't have to pack your suitcase like you're moving to Alaska. All you need to bring are comfortable base and mid-layers for underneath your riding gear, plus casual clothes for relaxing around the lodge. And don't forget the important stuff—a swimsuit for a well-earned soak in the hot tub and a phone or camera with plenty of storage. Trust us, you're going to want pictures. From snowy trails and mountain views to evenings relaxing at the lodge, we've got the gear covered so you can focus on what really matters: Staying warm. Having fun. And documenting the adventure of a lifetime.

It’s Alaska—so yes, it can get chilly! Winter temperatures are often between 10°F and -10°F, but cold snaps can bring temperatures into the -40s. Don’t worry about packing bulky winter gear—we provide the necessary outerwear to help keep you warm and comfortable throughout your adventure.
A significant portion of every applicable tour directly supports Battle Dawgs and its mission. We’re proud of this partnership and happy to share how your adventure helps support programs that use wilderness experiences and dog mushing to make a meaningful difference.
Not at all! Beginners are absolutely welcome. Our experienced team will walk you through everything you need to know before heading out. We’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident so you can spend less time worrying about the controls and more time enjoying your Alaska adventure.
Keep your eyes open—you never know who might wander by! Winter wildlife may include moose, caribou, snowshoe hares, ptarmigan, and birds of prey. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, but our team knows what to watch for and will do our best to spot animals along the way.
Alaska travel doesn’t always go according to plan. When booking online, you’ll have the option to purchase Peek Protect, which may provide a fast, full refund for covered circumstances such as illness, injury, pre-existing conditions, transportation disruptions, and certain family or home emergencies. Because our Alaska winter season is short, Wild Raven does not provide refunds for guest cancellations. We strongly recommend adding Peek Protect when booking for extra peace of mind. Refund eligibility through Peek Protect is subject to its coverage terms and may require supporting documentation
