Why take this tour?

More Than a Dog Sled Ride—A Story You'll Be Part Of

Dog sledding isn't just one of Alaska's most iconic winter adventures—it's a tradition built on trust, teamwork, and an enduring connection between people, dogs, and the wilderness. At Battle Dawgs, you'll experience that tradition in a way that's both authentic and deeply meaningful.

Your journey begins as an eager team of sled dogs leads you through Alaska's breathtaking winter landscape. Feel the crisp mountain air, listen to the quiet rhythm of paws on snow, and take in unforgettable views of Denali as you travel across the wilderness the same way Alaskans have for generations. Along the way, there will be time to stop for photos, love on the dogs, and appreciate the incredible partnership between musher and team.

But what truly makes this experience special is the purpose behind it.

Battle Dawgs is a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans find healing, purpose, and connection through wilderness therapy and dog mushing. Every tour directly supports that mission, allowing these remarkable dogs to do what they love while creating opportunities for veterans to rediscover strength, confidence, and community in Alaska's great outdoors.

After your ride, you'll step behind the scenes at the kennel, meet the dogs up close, hear their stories, and learn how your visit helps make a lasting impact. You'll leave with more than incredible photos—you'll leave knowing your adventure helped support something bigger.

Whether you're a lifelong dog lover or simply looking for an authentic Alaskan experience, this is a journey that will stay with you long after the snow has melted.
