Every day on the trail is different, which is part of what makes Alaska so special. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, our guides are always watching for signs of moose, foxes, snowshoe hares, birds of prey, and other local wildlife. If nature decides to make an appearance, we'll do our best to safely stop and give you the opportunity to take it all in.

Not at all! Beginners are absolutely welcome. Our experienced team will walk you through everything you need to know before heading out. We’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident so you can spend less time worrying about the controls and more time enjoying your Alaska adventure.
A little Alaska weather is part of the adventure! We operate in most winter conditions, but safety always comes first. If temperatures fall below -20°F or conditions become unsafe for our guests, guides, or four-legged athletes, we may reschedule your adventure or provide a full refund.
Absolutely! We encourage photos and provide multiple stops for capturing the stunning wilderness and your husky team in action.
A significant portion of every applicable tour directly supports Battle Dawgs and its mission. We’re proud of this partnership and happy to share how your adventure helps support programs that use wilderness experiences and dog mushing to make a meaningful difference.
Alaska travel doesn’t always go according to plan. When booking online, you’ll have the option to purchase Peek Protect, which may provide a fast, full refund for covered circumstances such as illness, injury, pre-existing conditions, transportation disruptions, and certain family or home emergencies. Because our Alaska winter season is short, Wild Raven does not provide refunds for guest cancellations. We strongly recommend adding Peek Protect when booking for extra peace of mind. Refund eligibility through Peek Protect is subject to its coverage terms and may require supporting documentation

Weather Policy

Tours operate in most weather conditions. Full refund available for cancellations due to extreme weather (below -20°F). Temperatures typically increase as the day goes on so we may be able to reschedule you for a later time if your itinerary allows it.

Physical Requirements

Moderate fitness level required. Participants must be able to operate a snowmobile and walk on snow/icy conditions.

What to Bring

Dress in warm layers, bring sunglasses, camera, and water bottle. All technical gear provided

Age Requirements

Minimum age 16 for snowmobile operation. Younger participants can ride as passengers with adult.
